The whole reason the Effy/Cook/Freddie love triangle was so wrenching was because of the unbreakable bond of Cook and Freddie’s bromance (JJ…you’re useless, gtfo). Sure, they screwed each other over and broke each others’ hearts over and over, but as Cook says, they “fookin’ love” each other, and in the end, when Freddie meets his untimely match in John Foster and the Baseball Bat, Cook is there to avenge his bro.
